We’re trying something new here at Destiny Toys. You all know we love toys, but we also love geeky t-shirts as well. We love them so much we’ve decided to design a few. To kick things off let us introduce the Uncle Owen’s BBQ Tee. Funny, in a subtle way, to those in the know. For people who have no idea what it means, it’s still a great Star Wars themed design!
If you like the shirt head on over to TeeSpring to order one!
We’ve bundled together groups of special vintage Star Wars figures just for you. These are not the pristine figures that have spent their lives never knowing what it feels like to be freed from their original card backs. They have not been incased in the AFA prison boxes to stare out hopeless for eternity unable to move. They didn’t spend their lives in a dark box wondering if they will ever see the light of day again. These are well loved figures that have seen untold adventures. They have fought hard battles to save, or enslave, the universe depending on which side you are on. They may have joined forces with He-Man or G.I. Joe then after the battle kicked up their heels in Barbie’s dream house. They have spend their lives being played with and loved (maybe too much sometimes) by their former owners and now are ready to continue the adventures with you…or your children.
Each Well Loved Figure Lot will feature 10 vintage Star Wars figures. You will get heroes, villains, robots, aliens – all you need to start your new adventure. The figures will range from poor to actually pretty decent condition. Just the type of figure you can use for dioramas, play time, taunting your pets, etc. No need to worry if they fall off the shelf and your 3 year old gets ahold of them. Just play with them as they were meant to be played with – as toys.
Let the adventures continue with the Well Loved Vintage Star Wars Lot of Hoth Rebel Commander, Princess Leia, Obi-wan Kenobi, Lando Calrissian, Chief Chirpa with Darth Vader head, R2-D2, C-3PO, a jawa, Hoth Han Solo and an Imperial Stormtrooper. May the Force be with you!

We just got in a slew of the Metal Earth model kits. Each model kit come with 2 or 3 metal sheets that contain the pieces to make your model. Etchings on the metal gives detailing to your finished model. Simply detach the pieces and follow the instructions to create your own shiny metal models.
Putting the models together is moderately difficult and it really helps if you use needle nose pliers. Some models are more difficult than others. I personally think the tie fighter might be one of the more challenging kits. You need to bend the main body piece until it forms the round cockpit. Once formed it is very small and easily squished when trying to attach the wings.
Once built these are great additions to a desk or work space.
Break out of the ordinary and make your work day Super with our new Chair Capes. That’s right, you can be a hero in your office (…and in your mind) with a styling super hero chair cape. The capes have an adjustable hook and loop based belt and strap that will fit most size chairs. Take the cape off the strap and let your kid run around the house with it. Wrap it around your own neck and be super annoying to office mates. The possibilities are limitless!
So it’s amazing that every year during Toy Fair it ends up being the coldest day in 100 years. This year was no different, if I had a Taun-Taun it would have froze before I reached the first marker. Somehow I managed to get through and got to see the many great things on hand at Toy Fair this year.
The Loyal Subjects are adding He-Man to their line-up. The figures look fantastic and we will be bringing those in later in the year. We will have the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Wave 2 coming in shortly as well as the Power Ranger blind boxes.
Kotobukia are expanding their silicon tray line with an awesome BB-8 coming in the spring. Also keep an eye out for Aliens Big Chap mini figures and DC superhero statues.
